Generous Mulalley staff help the homeless

January 2012 - Generous Mulalley staff help the homeless

Staff at Mulalley generously donated several crates of food, toiletries and clothing for local homeless charity; The Welcome Project based in Ilford, Essex.

The day centre provides an extensive range of targeted services that meet the needs of homeless and vulnerable adults in the community, including providing breakfast and a three course nutritional meal for up to 60 local people a day who are sleeping rough.

Sonia Lynch the Centre Manager said: ‘ We would like to thank the whole company for their generous donation of food, socks and other items for the clients of the Project, we are eternally grateful.’

Mulalley Director, Richard Hatcher handed over the donations to Centre Manager Sonia Lynch and said : ‘ We were glad to help this good cause and to show support to a charity that is local to us.

‘Our staff were very generous in their donations and we can see it will all be put to good use to help those that need it.‘

The Welcome Project is funded by Redbridge Council, grant maintained trusts and also relies heavily on donations.
