As part of our ongoing Investment in the Community initiatives, Mulalley were pleased to support the Mayville Community Centre, Islington, at their “mmm!” Festival on 31 July 2008
While some residents enjoyed the other attractions on offer such as face painting, games, raffles, competitions and graffiti T-shirts, Lisa Jennings (Mulalley Training Manager) and Jackie Turner (Mulalley Community Events Officer) were on hand to offer practical advice on apprenticeships and careers within the construction industry. Lisa and Jackie answered questions from parents curious about opportunities for their school-leaving sons and daughters, and also spoke to many potential candidates - young and old, on what the Construction industry could offer.
The festival was a great success, with both Jessie White - Vice Chair Homes for Islington Board, and Trevor Mbatha, Chief Executive - Mildmay Community Partnership, expressing their delight at the event.

"The Community Engagement and festival is an important event in Mildmay Community Partnership’s diary and it pleasing to receive such fantastic continuing support from our contractors particularly from Mulalley. For a small charity and community organisation it’s really reassuring to find that you can call on a company such as Mulalley to provide support and that there are genuinely keen to support community events and assist tenants and
residents."
