Iain Wright MP for Hartlepool made a VIP visit to our Oldmead and Bartlett’s House site accompanied by Jon Cruddas Labour MP for Dagenham

Iain Wright MP was on a fact finding mission in East London looking at the progress of Decent Homes work in the area. On his visit he inspected both the internal and external works at Oldmead and Bartletts Houses. Both Iain and Jon were very keen to learn how the extensive works were being managed whilst residents remained in occupation, and how residents respite facilities on the site eased the inconvenience giving some solace to the residents whilst works took place within their homes. 

Accompanying the MP’s were Elizabeth Oldfield and Bob Oakley, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Project Management Team.

Liam Smith, Deputy Leader of Barking & Dagenham Council who joined the MP’s on their visit, stated that he was extremely proud of this project and had specifically picked the Oldmead and Bartletts contract for the MP’s visit.
