Generous Mulalley staff raised an impressive £2,065 for Papworth Hospital Charity through their annual Christmas raffle. Mulalley provided 12 different prizes to be won from a weekend away for two in Holland to an Apple ipad mini. Staff purchased over 400 tickets at £5 each and all monies raised went to charity.

Papworth Hospital Charity exists to support the work of Cambridge’s Papworth Hospital which is the UK’s largest specialist cardiothoracic hospital and the main heart and lung transplant centre.

Megan Wisbey from the charity was delighted to receive the much needed funds and said: “On behalf of everyone at Papworth Hospital, I would like to take this opportunity to convey our gratitude for Mulalley’s continued support. Charitable funds help to bridge the gap between NHS funding and the reality of providing such a high provision of care.

Your fundraising efforts will help provide additional amenities for our patients and their families that without charitable funds, would not be possible. I wish to extend our thanks to all who contributed to the fundraising and for choosing to support Papworth Hospital Charity.”
