Mulalley welcomed Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP) Chief Executive Andrew Taylor and Councillor Jayne McCoy, Chair of Sutton’s Housing, Economic and Business Committee, to view progress at the refurbishment of Chaucer House, SHP’s biggest social housing block. Mulalley is currently completing the external over cladding of the building, roof renewal works, new passenger lift installations, as well as window replacements.
Andrew Taylor commented after the visit: “After extensive works inside and out, Chaucer House is being transformed from one of our most unpopular blocks to one we can enjoy showing off. This is the second such project with Mulalley and they can be proud of what they’ve done to not only improve Sutton’s skyline, but also the homes of our residents.”
Mulalley Operations Director Colin Watson said: “It was a pleasure to show Andrew and Jayne the progress we are making at Chaucer House. The building is being completely transformed and will be fit for purpose for residents to enjoy for many years to come.”
