Mulalley working with the Construction Youth Trust engaged children and young people in a range of construction activities at the Newham Mayor’s Show on 9th and 10th July. Hosting a stall at the “Building Futures” tent, a range of taster sessions were offered in carpentry, painting, tiling, brickwork and plumbing.

Newham Council Economic Regeneration Team Leader Margaret Almond said: “I have had lots of very positive comments from colleagues about your great activities which really helped make our tent so successful.”

Mulalley Operations Director Bruce Benson said: “It was great to see so many young people visiting the Construction Youth Trust stall and having such fun. Hopefully we will have inspired some of them to pursue a career in the construction industry.”

Mulalley have been long term supporters of the Newham Mayor’s Show and this year a record 50,000 people attended. Mulalley also sponsored the donkey rides which proved very popular.
