Mulalley recently sponsored a tree planting day on the Wimbledon Park Estate. Over the years, this beautiful estate has had various trees cut down due to ill health. As Wimbledon Park Estate prides itself on its beautiful garden, it was crucial to replace those trees and continue to retain the natural settings.
The order of the day was to plant various types of trees near the location where previous trees have been cut down. In all eight new trees were planted and some bulbs were also planted around these new trees. The day included games for the children to make it as informative and engaging as possible. All the children who attended received a certificate at the end of the day.
Mulalley Operations Director Colin Watson said: “We were very happy to help with this great initiative to plant new trees on the Estate and hope the trees are enjoyed by local residents for many years to come.”
Mulalley is currently undertaking window replacements and communal repairs and decorations on the Wimbledon Park Estate for the London Borough of Wandsworth.
