Christmas trees for local schools

Mulalley has spread Christmas cheer by buying Christmas trees for two local schools. Hungerford and The Bridge primary schools neighbour our site in Holloway where we are building 23 new homes and a new community centre for Islington Council.

The development will be made up of energy efficient family-sized units, with 13 council homes for social rent, four for shared ownership and six available for market sale.

Representatives from Mulalley and Islington Council also visited the schools to help children decorate the trees.

Executive member for housing and development, Cllr Diarmaid Ward, said: “There is high demand for housing in London and the council is committed to building new homes for our residents. I’m very pleased that we can rebuild this popular community centre whilst also providing a number of affordable new homes.

We will continue to maintain a good relationship with Hungerford and The Bridge Schools throughout the development process, and I hope they will enjoy their new Christmas trees.”

Mulalley Operations Director John Moore said: “Mulalley is always keen to give back to the communities where we are working. We were very happy to provide the Christmas trees to bring some festive cheer to these local schools.”
