Raising over £10,000 for Charity

Generous Mulalley staff raised an impressive £1,965 for Papworth Hospital Charity through their annual Christmas raffle. Mulalley provided 12 different prizes to be won from a weekend away in the Lake District to an Amazon Echo with staff buying tickets at £5 each. This brings the total raised by Mulalley for Papworth to over £10,000.

Papworth Hospital Charity exists to support the work of Cambridge’s Papworth Hospital which is the UK’s largest specialist cardiothoracic hospital and the main heart and lung transplant centre.

Megan Wiseby from the charity was thrilled to receive the much needed funds and said: “We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of everyone at Mulalley. To date, over £10,000 has been raised through your fundraising efforts for the hospital. This is a truly fantastic testament to the work of the hospital and the funds go a long way to support patient care.

Funding provided to Papworth Hospital Charity isn’t always just about medicine; it’s also about providing care for our patients that otherwise wouldn’t be possible. We recognise that coming to Papworth can be a scary time for a lot of our patients and their relatives, and we endeavour to provide funding for those special extra touches that make a scary time a little easier.

With thanks to your support, we can continue to ensure that each of our patients receives the highest standard of care and for that, we thank you.”
