Mulalley recently sponsored the Shift Awards, the sustainability awards for the housing sector. Over 200 housing and sustainability professionals came together to celebrate outstanding achievements in sustainability, presented by leading environmental journalist Lucy Siegle.
To celebrate 10 years of the SHIFT Awards, this year’s ceremony also included a special category to recognise the “Most improved ever SHIFT landlord”. Sponsored by Mulalley, we were delighted to present this award to Hexagon Housing for their progression from bronze landlords in 2010 to their current gold level.
Mulalley’s Associate Director for Sustainability, Peter Sharman was also a finalist in Sustainability Leader of the Year for his commitment to promoting sustainability in the housing sector, and ensuring Mulalley achieved carbon neutrality.
Bevan Jones, Managing Director of Sustainable Homes said: “I am thrilled to see such a diverse group of organisations coming together to celebrate sustainability in housing. These organisations represent the best of housing and demonstrate that sustainability plays a major role in enhancing people’s lives.”
Mulalley Operations Director Bruce Benson said: “We were proud to once again sponsor the Shift Awards. Mulalley continue to work with our Clients to create and deliver sustainable retrofit projects that reduce carbon emissions from the built environment and alleviate fuel poverty for residents.”
