Mulalley is delighted to have been awarded the Supply Chain Leadership: Project Award at this year’s Social Value Portal 2021 Social Value Awards. Mulalley was presented with this award for their Croydon General Builders Work contract.
Hosted by the National Social Value Taskforce and Social Value Portal, the awards aim to highlight best practice from around the UK and showcase how sectors and businesses embed social value within the way they do business.
Now in its third year, there are six main award categories, free for anyone to enter. This year the awards had over 80 submissions across the categories and judges were very impressed with the calibre of entries. The judging panel was made up of social value innovators and experts from across public and private sectors.
Social Value Portal CEO Guy Battle said of the awards: “We are so pleased to be able to host the awards again, in partnership with the National Social Value Taskforce. We were blown away by the number of entries, more than doubling this year, making the judging process a challenging but inspiring one.”
Mulalley Construction Division Managing Director Bruce Benson said: “We are very proud to have won this award, and that our efforts to engage with and support our supply chain in delivering social value have been rewarded.”
