Our Resident Liaison team recently made a visit to Southend to make a £250 donation to the Southend Communities Outreach Group.

Southend Communities Outreach Group member Shirley O’Reilly said, “Without donations from companies like this, we would not be able to run the Food Bank.”

The Southend Communities Outreach Group was set up in May 2015 to reach out to people in the local community. Their aim is to engage with hidden communities within Southend as they recognise there are a number of excluded and isolated residents who face issues of poverty, deprivation and poor health.

Mulalley Associate Director Vikki Emmines said, “The Southend Communities Outreach Group is a voluntary organisation and we are more than happy to make a donation that will help those in need within the local community.”

Mulalley will shortly be undertaking a variety of works on Cecil Court, including the installation of a sprinkler system to flats, communal areas and bin store. We will also be constructing a new concrete tank base and fire pump plinths.
