The Social Value Team were back with the Golding Homes “Cleaner Safer Greener Team” in Hawley Court, Maidstone where we were supporting them with the second of their Shed Amnesty Days!
Over the years some residents have moved on or lost keys with lots of the sheds becoming either unused, full of unwanted clutter or simply unable to be accessed.
Mulalley purchased 46 new locks and provided a lock smith for the day and 2 x12 yard skips so residents could get rid of any unwanted clutter from their sheds.
Our volunteers joined the Golding Homes team to register new keys with residents and assist with clearing out the sheds.
Mulalley is currently working on behalf of Golding Homes on a three year kitchen and bathroom regeneration programme, with volunteering forming part of our social value promises.
A big thank you to our waste contract partners KM-ECO Ltd who provided a free skip for this social value event.
