Ground-breaking works to new community centre starts at Nightingale Estate, Hackney

Mulalley met with the Mayor of Hackney Caroline Woodley, along with Deputy Mayor Nicholson and Cllrs Sem Moema, Michael Desmond and Alastair Binne-Lubbock on site at Nightingale Estate to celebrate the commencement of ground-breaking works to a new temporary community centre.

Lee Walsh, Construction Director Mulalley New Build Division said: “Mulalley is pleased to be working on the Nightingale Estate for the London Borough of Hackney, and we look forward to when residents will be able to enjoy using their new community centre.”

Nightingale Estate is a design and build scheme comprising of a total of 72 homes for social rent located in a single five storey block. As well as the new homes and community centre, the regeneration will include the central Public Realm space, with improvements to the paving, lighting, play space and soft landscaping features.
