Mulalley Assistant Social Value Manager Amber Perrier is having a busy day in the Royal Borough of Greenwich today where we are supporting two fantastic community partners from Greenwiches Match My Project portal.

Firstly it was off to HOME-START GREENWICH where Amber joined Ciaran O' Donnell, Dave Taylor and Home Start Director Leann Cross, to present a cheque for £900 to support their important activities within Greenwich.

HOME-START GREENWICH (HSG) has been providing care for families since 1993. The organisation is part of a national network providing a place of care and refuge for families facing loneliness, hardship, or parenting challenges, supporting families to protect their most valuable assets, their children. Locally they have expanded their befriending offer to a skilled family support service, care and early learning organisation.

Then it was off to Mama 2 Mama where we are supporting the opening of a new Community Cafe / Baby Bank focused on young families. They had put a request on Match My Project for donations of fire extinguishers and signage and Mulalley were only too happy to help!

Mama 2 Mama Baby Bank is like a food bank but for baby essentials. They collect new and pre-loved items for new-borns to 3 year olds from the local community and give them to families who are in urgent need of help.

Amber Perrier met up with CEO/Founder Zuzana Fratrikova to donate the fire extinguishers. We have also offered free fire safety awareness training for staff and volunteers at the cafe.
