Mulalley is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a major 10-year planned investment programme with Norwich City Council, marking a decisive step forward in delivering long-term asset improvement, carbon reduction, and community value for residents.
Under this programme, Mulalley will deliver a broad suite of essential planned works across the South and West areas of the Borough that sit at the heart of Norwich City Council’s Housing Revenue Account (HRA) business plan. Scope includes:
• Kitchen and bathroom modernisation
• Electrical and heating system upgrades
• Carbon-reduction measures including air source heat pumps and solar PV
• Window and door replacements
• Roofing works and communal redecoration programmes
This long-term partnership gives Norwich the capacity, continuity, and delivery resilience needed to meet its strategic asset investment commitments.
Norwich City Council’s procurement process prioritised quality over price, recognising the importance of technical competence, tenant-focused delivery, and long-term partnership behaviours. The award demonstrates confidence in Mulalley’s operational capability, our carbon-reduction expertise, and our commitment to service excellence.
Nick Price, Mulalley Operations Director, said: “This award signals a forward-looking partnership with Norwich City Council, built on shared intent: invest smartly, deliver consistently, and create tangible social impact. We’re fully committed to raising standards for tenants, accelerating carbon-reduction outcomes, and driving sustained local economic benefit over the next decade. Mulalley will collaborate directly with local groups to maximise environmental, social, and economic outcomes aligning with the council’s We Are Norwich plan and its Fairer Norwich and Prosperous Norwich priorities”.
Bruce Benson, Mulalley Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to enter this 10-year partnership with Norwich City Council.
